You know who commits the most sex crimes? Criminals. Monsters. Pigs.
I know some of you girls think you are doing some good by all this bandaid-on-a-gunshot-wound blabber, but you’re not. You’re alienating innocent people, and extracting them from the equation.
I’d like to see more men speak up. I wish I could sit some of you self righteous brats in a room with some of my male friends who grew up watching their mothers get thrown into walls. The same men who were afraid to have girlfriends, just in case they inherited some abuse gene. I would love for you to talk to my best male friend, who was picked on so badly for his acne, that he became suicidal. He is also so emotionally scarred from the experience, that he does not want to have children, for fear he’ll pass it on to them and endure the same. Or maybe you would like to explain to my friend Jeremy, who dated a girl that did so much damage to her internal organs thru her high school anorexia, that she miscarried his child, how he is not affected by these issues.
Men are not any different than we are. They have it no better. Men do not rape, criminals do. Men do not verbally abuse their girlfriends, assholes do.
I don’t know who you follow, but if this is coming from the reblog that I did about safety, I did not post that with the intention of saying that we have it harder than men or that all men are assholes, I just didn’t think it would be fair to take that part out of the post, seeing as how I did not write the original.
I reblogged it and commented because I was surprised how that safety does get ingrained in our daily lives, and how we now do them without thinking. I have a neighbor who is afraid to go out at night at all, even to her car in the yard. And I told her that I don’t think I could live in constant fear like that, but I guess we all kind of have that “just in case” section in our subconscious that makes me hold my keys between my fingers when I walk. I just had that conversation two nights ago, and that reminded me of it. So, I am sorry if that upset you, but it was definitely not reblogged with this “femi-nazi” thing that must be circulating lately for you to post this.
